Minimum income requirements are based on your total income, you can include things like benefits and any secondary income sources. The minimum levels are as follows:
Single applicants: You need a yearly income of at least £25,000. If you're in London or the South East, it's £30,000.
Joint applicants: If one of you meets the single applicant criteria, you're good. If not, together you should earn at least £50,000 a year.
